Rewind AI originally referred to a desktop and web experience under the Limitless brand that recorded activity and made it searchable. The current official Rewind AI domain redirects to a Limitless notice stating the company has been acquired by Meta and that non pendant functionality like Rewind is being sunset. This changes the practical status of the tool from an active product to a winding down service. For existing customers, the notice states continuing Pendant customers will be supported for at least another year and no longer need to pay a subscription, with existing customers moved to an Unlimited plan at no cost. For new customers, the notice states the Pendant is no longer sold as of December 5, 2025, and recording via the desktop and web apps is no longer available. Regional availability is a critical constraint. The notice states that as of December 5, 2025 the Limitless service will no longer be available in the European Union and several other regions, with affected users having until December 19, 2025 to download information before accounts and associated information are permanently deleted.
